flybrainwork produces verifiable, reusable computations over a fruit-fly neural connectivity graph. A browser can prepare the registered model, search a frozen stimulus task and preserve its output. An authority coordinates submission and complete replay. Public results and the Explorer make the resulting evidence easier to inspect.

The project combines scientific computation with a finite funding model. Every payable discovery belongs to a defined task and reserved budget. A successful numerical result, a competition win and a finalized token payment are separate events.

The four parts of the experience#

Part What you can do What the page tells you
Mining Prepare the model, control a computation and preserve candidates Preparation, actual work, submission and funding state
Neuron atlas Browse source types and representative anatomy Classification, provenance and structural context
Results Read authorized publications and reproduction packages Numerical scope, metrics, evidence and download rights
Explorer Follow public rounds and settlement records Candidate eligibility, verification, winner and payment evidence

Compute services provides a route for scoped requests. The broader Marketplace remains under development; its proposed products are described separately in the Marketplace roadmap.

How work moves through the system#

How computation and evidence connect

  1. 01Research definitionsFrozen graph, model and task
  2. 02Browser minerExplicit computation and private candidate
  3. 03Authority + full replayEligibility, verification and unique winner
  4. 04Evidence + settlementPublic projection and finite Devnet payment
Read from left to right. The public query path exposes permitted evidence; complete candidate archives remain private. Solana settles financial actions after the declared scientific checks.

A model and task definition must agree before work begins. The browser executes the same frozen numerical rules used by the verifier. Private candidate material travels through the authorized submission path; the public query service exposes a narrower projection. Solana records the financial actions of the specifically configured Devnet plan.

Project resources and records#

Resource How to use it
How it works Read the short product explanation, then use this handbook for the detailed workflow
Scientific methods Follow the evidence registry and source/model evaluation boundaries
Whitepaper Read the versioned protocol and economic design; historical documents keep their original rules
My records and payment settings Compare local work, accepted contributions, wallet grants and settled assets
Validators Read the verification scope; open node installation and staking remain future work
Community Follow public task participation and versioned rules; it does not issue an independent participation grant
Methods and source notes Follow the source/methods links and explanatory articles without treating an older article as live funding state
Product capabilities Read capability references together with the current availability guide
Help Find a short recovery path and contact/request entry

The header's Resources menu provides the secondary entries. Privacy and terms describe user-facing policies; the logo download provides the supplied project mark.

Who this handbook is for#

Participants can follow Your first session, then learn about model storage, wallets and grants. Researchers can inspect the model, tasks, verification and reproducibility guides. Developers and operators can start with architecture and pinned workspace builds. Customers can read the service request guide before submitting a scope.

You do not need a wallet to read documentation, browse the atlas or inspect public evidence. Reading a page does not start a simulation or authorize spending.

Scientific and network scope#

The registered graph contains 165,122 neurons and 25,563,197 directed neuron pairs. These counts describe the prepared graph; directed pairs are not the original biological synapse count. The model uses deterministic integer point-neuron dynamics. It is a computational model with explicit assumptions, rather than a measured reconstruction of all biological dynamics.

The deployed wallet settlement program and FBW asset use Solana Devnet. The initial two-unit acceptance budget is complete. A separate two-FBW task-supply stage now funds two additional calibrated targets, without changing the initial paid tasks or supply. Mainnet, formal emission and production payments remain inactive. See Feature availability for the current boundary.

Project and token names#

The website UI name is flybrainwork. The maintained project and GitHub owner remain flybrainlabs. The existing test token is also named flybrainwork, with symbol FBW and eight decimals. The official website remains flybrain.work, and the project X link is flybrainwork. A matching symbol is insufficient to identify an asset; use the complete Devnet identity in FBW Devnet reference.

See feature availability for release scope and pending acceptance.
